Why Firegoat

It’s all to do with the Chinese Month and Year of my Birth.  The domain was available and it means something to me.  I only wanted the domain so I could have a constant e-mail account.  So Firegoat it was!

I am Male, over 45 married with kids, one of each flavour.  This site is a collection of stuff relevant to my hobbies and interests.  Most of the information gathered here is from different places on the net.

So my hobbies are at the moment: -

Photography, Coffee, Keep fit, Gadgets and motorbikes. 

Photography

I have a Canon 50D and a relatively new Canon 7D with a bunch of lens.  I am more leading to technical side as I don’t have much of a flair or eye for composition.

Coffee

I have a Gaggia Espresso Maker and grind my own beans for each cup, more about all that on the coffee page.

Gadgets

Ebook’s,  Ipads,  Ipods, Sat Nav, Xbox360 anything (gadget) really!

Motorbikes

At the moment I have a Honda CBF100FA (2011) and also a Honda CBR600Fi (2001) I have had in the past GSXR750K7, Honda VFR800,  Fazor 600 and my first bigger bike was a GPz500.

Keep Fit

That’s something at my age that you have to do! At the moment I am starting to jog again and hope to do some 10km races this year, the aim being to finish in under an hour to start, improving as I go on.
